If Genero registers my Domain name and hosts my Web site, does my Email still go to my current ISP?
When you get a hosting account with us we are able to provide Email redirection/forwarding of your email to your current email address. For example, if your business site is abc.com.au you can ask us to create a number of email accounts such as info@abc.com.au and sales@abc.corn.au. We will then configure these email accounts so that they are forwarded to your current email address. If you change ISPs for some reason in the future, simply tell us your new email address and we will reconfigure your forwarding to your new ISP. Back to top of page
What information do I need to provide in order to register a domain name?
For a .com.au domain name, you must have either an ABN, ACN or a trademark number associated to the name that you are registering. If you don't have either of these, then you can apply for a .com Domain name. A .com Domain name is American and you should provide us with at least 5 Domain name preferences as there are more American Domain names registered than other types.
